水戶市 是日本茨城縣中部的都市和茨城縣的縣廳所在地，位於關東地方東北部，人口約26万人，為中核市之一。那珂川流經市內並注入太平洋，市區則以常磐線為界分為南北兩部分。水戶市是水戶德川家的發源地，以水戶黃門(德川光圀)而聞名，市內的偕樂園則以梅花而聞名。明治時代以后，市內的納豆消費與生產都很旺盛，因此水戶納豆成為當地的名產。
